It’s the moment you have all been waiting for...Plant Swap is back with a few tweaks to make it a safe and sanitized experience! Our plant swap is a community event for the #ForageFam to get together and swap potted plants and rooted cuttings! Rather than a one for one, “I’ll swap you this thing for that thing”, we do an open formatted swap. This means there is a designated area for plant offerings (Plants, pots, rooted cuttings, etc) where people can drop off the things they want to swap and take what they want! We just ask that everyone give joyfully and take joyfully! Along with the goodies you will take home from the swap we will offer 10% off the entire store, so rad right?!


So what are the changes we are making for a Covid safe event you may ask? Great question! During this event, our store is usually PACKED with planty people, so in order to keep you (and our staff) safe this will be a ticketed event. Since we have a limited number or spots available, we will be requiring every attendee to bring at least 1 full plant or 10 rooted cuttings to attend. Of course you are welcome to bring as much as you like (most attendees usually bring 2-5 full plants, lots of rooted cuttings, or a mix). Masks must be worn at all time properly, that means over the nose and no pulling them down for any reason! If you are not able to wear your mask properly, you will be asked to leave, no exceptions.

Plant swap tickets are $5 and all of the ticket sales will be donated to Planned Parenthood for Women's History Month. OWe can't wait to see you there!

I ordered online — when will my order ship?

We are a fairly small operation, and currently we have a small shipping team of 1. Generally speaking, orders ship out on the Saturday after your order has been placed. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will usually ship out the following Saturday, but depending on availability may take 1-2 weeks to ship.

I don't know what plant would be best for my house. Can you help me?

Absolutely! At Forage we believe in helping turn your black thumb green. And this means educating our patrons about which types of plants may be best for the space in your home. We always ask for our clients to take a look at their home or business space they want to fill, take some photos, and then we can help guide you.

Can you help guide me on how to repot my Forage plant?

Not only can we help guide you, but if you are shopping in-store we will plant your new plant for you! We want to make sure that any plant that has left our shop is well taken care of, and that means making sure it makes its way into the right soil base and into its new home. 

Shopping online and need help repotting? We have also got you covered! Grab yourself a pack of Good Dirt and schedule a plant doctor appointment with one of our plant experts to walk you through the process via video chat!

My plant isn't looking so good. Help!

We do our best to make sure all of the plants leaving Forage are happy and healthy, and we encourage all of our Forage patrons to inspect the plant in our shop. We will provide care instructions and help as much as we can before you leave. But sometimes plants are tricky. If your Forage plant becomes sick, we will gladly put all of our effort in communicating our thoughts on what might be going wrong. Online Returns

Shipping plants and pots can be tricky, because the post is not always kind to our packages, but we will always do our best to make it right! If your package arrives in less than perfect condition, please email us at customerservice@forageplants.com with your name, order number, and pictures, right away. This will help us get a claim started with the post, and a new package out to your door ASAP! 

Plants: Plants purchased online may be returned or exchanged on a case by case basis, within 30 days of purchase. If your plant arrives in less than perfect condition, please email us at customerservice@forageplants.com with your name, order number, and pictures right away so that we can help you remedy any issues your plant may be experiencing. In the unlikely case that your plant arrives damaged beyond repair, we will get a new one sent to your ASAP. If the original plant is no longer in stock, you may choose an exchange of equal value or a full refund.

Hard Goods: If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. You may send back your items in their original condition for a refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase ( In this case Forage is not responsible for return shipping costs.) Clothing items must be returned unworn, unwashed, with tags still attached to be eligible for a refund or exchange. After 30 days returns will be issued as store credit only up to 60 days. In the unlikely case that your items arrive damaged, we will be happy to replace them. If the original item is no longer in stock, you may choose an exchange of equal value or a full refund.

Non-Returnable Items: Perishable goods, giftcards, downloadable purchases, and class tickets, are non-refundable. Class tickets may be transferred, or partially refunded on a case by case basis. All sale items are final sale and may not be refunded or exchanged.

In-Store Returns

Plants: Plants may be returned or exchanged on a case by case basis, within 14 days of purchase. We ask that you reach out to us via email or social media as soon as you are experiencing an issue with your plant so that we are able to help you remedy any care issues before it is too late. The employee on duty reserves the right to refuse the return of plants that have been repotted, have retained temperature damage, or have been damaged due to improper care. Proof of purchase is required for any return or exchange.

Hard Goods: If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Please bring back your items within a 14 day period in their original condition for a refund or exchange. Clothing items must be returned unworn, unwashed, with tags still attached to be eligible for a refund or exchange. After 14 days  returns will be issued as store credit only up to 30 days.  Proof of purchase is required for any return or exchange.
